Welcome, and thank you for using Numen (previously published as "Reverie"). Numen is a private, local-first space for journaling your dreams and "visions" and receiving gentle, AI-generated reflections. If something isn't working or you have a question, this page should help. If it doesn't, we're a short email away.
You record a dream or vision — by typing or by speaking — and Numen sends your text (or a transcript of your voice) to our AI providers — Moonshot AI (Kimi), Anthropic (Claude) and Google (Gemini) — which return a calm, reflective "reading." You can choose an interpretation lens (Psychological, Spiritual, Islamic, or Christian) to shape the tone. Readings are always suggestive — they speak in terms of what something may reflect, never what it definitively means.
No. Numen is for personal reflection and journaling only. It is not medical, psychological, or clinical advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional. The faith lenses are devotional in spirit, not authoritative: the Islamic lens is taʿbīr-inspired and is not a fatwa or ruling, and the Christian lens is Biblically-resonant and is not church doctrine. For guidance, please consult an appropriate professional or trusted authority. If you're in crisis, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line such as 988 (US/Canada), 111 (Türkiye), or find help at https://findahelpline.com.
If you reinstalled the app or switched devices, open Settings in Numen and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account you used to subscribe. Your Premium status should return within a few moments.
Subscriptions are billed through the app store, so you cancel there:
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Numen is local-first: your journal entries and settings live on your device. They're only stored in the cloud if you create an optional account to sync across devices. To interpret a dream, your text (or voice transcript) is sent to our AI providers — Moonshot AI (Kimi), Anthropic (Claude) and Google (Gemini) — for processing; voice audio is processed transiently and not stored. Generated images are stored so the app can display them. We don't sell your data, don't use third-party advertising, and don't track you across other apps.
To delete everything we hold, open Settings → Delete Account in the app. This erases your server-side entries, settings, generated images, credit record, and sign-in user. If you use Numen anonymously, just delete the app to remove your local data. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Journaling — recording, tagging, and organizing your dreams — is free. The AI features (readings, voice transcription, and image generation) require a Premium subscription; generating readings and images is costly to run. Premium includes a weekly image allowance (currently 25 per week). The onboarding demo shows real, pre-generated examples so you can see what readings look like before subscribing.
Check your internet connection and try again. Numen also screens content before generating, so requests with disallowed content (for example graphic or harmful material) may be declined. If a clearly normal request keeps failing, email us with the date and what you tried and we'll look into it.
Email appfactory.acc@gmail.com and we'll get back to you, usually within 2–3 business days. To help us help you faster, please include:
We read every message. Thank you for trusting Numen with your dreams.
